Thanks to the generosity of everyone who supported the regatta, this latest donation takes Hurley Regatta’s charitable giving to more than £120,000. It is a milestone we are incredibly proud of, and one that reflects the kindness, community spirit and commitment that make the regatta such a special part of village life.

This year, Hurley Regatta will be supporting Thames Valley Adventure Playground as our chosen charity for 2026. Based in Taplow, near Maidenhead, Thames Valley Adventure Playground provides a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children and adults with disabilities and additional needs. The charity offers adventurous, therapeutic and educational play activities, helping visitors to enjoy freedom, friendship and fun in a setting designed around their needs.

The Playground also supports families, siblings and carers, offering respite, advice and a welcoming place where everyone can feel included. Its facilities include specialist indoor and outdoor play, recreational and learning spaces, and it welcomes children, teenagers and adults with a wide range of physical, learning, sensory and behavioural needs.

We are delighted to be supporting such a worthwhile local charity this year. Every ticket bought, race entered, stall visited and donation made at Hurley Regatta will help us raise funds and awareness for Thames Valley Adventure Playground, supporting the important work they do for families across our local area.
